Jr. DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. You will help build, maintain, and improve our cloud‑based infrastructure while collaborating with development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and configure operational environments based on approved architectures.
• Deploy, install, test, and automate software and hardware across development, staging, and production.
• Monitor system, network, database, and application performance; log issues, tune performance, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Implement security controls, manage access, firewalls, and enforce security policies.
• Conduct scheduled audits, recommend improvements for performance, security, and quality.
• Participate in project scoping, provide technical guidance, and evaluate solution designs.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with systems administration, IT operations, or related fields.
• Familiarity with AWS architecture (no certification required) and Linux administration (Debian/Ubuntu or RHEL/CentOS).
• Experience with command‑line operations, Bash/Shell scripting, and database administration (MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MSSQL).
• Knowledge of version control (Git or SVN) and basic networking/DNS concepts.
• Understanding of SDLC, web development basics, and API/REST/SOAP services.
