About the role
The Service Desk Specialist provides first‑line technical support for Woodgrain’s users in Cebu City. You will receive, evaluate, and resolve tickets related to hardware, software, and networking issues, ensuring timely communication and closure.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize and log incoming support requests via the IT Service Management platform.
- Gather detailed information from users to diagnose problems.
- Troubleshoot routine issues following department policies and procedures.
- Escalate tickets to appropriate IT teams when necessary.
- Document all actions and updates within the ticketing system.
- Contribute to SOP creation and continuous improvement of the Service Desk.
- Support department metrics, SLAs, and knowledge‑base updates.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education preferred.
- At least 1 year of experience in a technical support or help‑desk role.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
