IT Applications Support (Tier 2)

About the role

TaskUs, a provider of outsourced digital services and customer experience, is hiring an IT Applications Support professional in Pasig. The role is Level II support, acting as the single point of contact for employees on corporate application issues, working with Business Analysts and Development Teams to keep applications reliable and to train corporate application team members.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and triage in-house and cloud-based applications such as HCM, Financials, Recruiting and Payroll
• Own user issues, coordinate resolutions, track progress and share status updates in line with service management principles
• Provide user training on corporate applications, support minor enhancements and publish documentation
• Generate weekly status reports on issue trends and support activities

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science or Information Technology, or equivalent
• Previous experience in operations help desk, service desk support or IT service management
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, global team; can start ASAP or within 30 days

Required skills

• 1-2 years of .NET development and coding, with OOP and coding principles
• Familiarity with AngularJS, ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap and Node.js
• SQL/NoSQL databases and web application frameworks
• Git or SVN and cloud platforms (AWS is an advantage)
• Agile-SCRUM and ITIL knowledge
• User administration, system configuration and SQL scripting
