iOS Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced iOS Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for iPhone and iPad. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, performant solutions that integrate with back‑end services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features.
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation.
• Integrate user‑facing elements developed by front‑end developers with server‑side logic.
• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Design and implement low‑latency, high‑availability, and performant applications.
• Attend and facilitate team meetings as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5‑9 years of experience as an iOS developer.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Experience with Git and platforms such as GitLab, Bitbucket, or GitHub.
• Experience with AWS or Serverless architectures is highly desirable.
• Keen interest in sharing knowledge with junior developers.

Required skills

• Proficient with Objective‑C or Swift and Cocoa Touch.
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data and Core Animation.
• Knowledge of offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS apps to back‑end services.
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and UI/UX standards.
• Knowledge of low‑level C‑based libraries (a plus).
• Experience with performance and memory tuning tools.
• Familiarity with cloud messaging APIs and push notifications.
• Proficient with version‑control tools (Git, Mercurial, SVN) and best‑practice workflows.
• Experience with continuous integration and Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Comfortable working in a Unix‑like terminal environment (BSD, GNU/Linux, macOS).
