Internal Auditor

About the role

Unioil Petroleum Philippines, Inc. is seeking an Internal Auditor to lead comprehensive financial, operational, and compliance audits across its business units. The role focuses on evaluating internal controls, documenting findings, and recommending improvements to strengthen governance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and refining the Annual Audit Plan aligned with organizational risk priorities.
• Prepare detailed audit work programs and execute the full audit cycle for financial, operational, and compliance engagements.
• Conduct complex audits with higher financial stakes or risk exposure as assigned.
• Evaluate internal controls, perform risk assessments, and identify control gaps.
• Prepare clear audit reports with root‑cause analysis and actionable recommendations.
• Monitor implementation of corrective actions and conduct follow‑up audits.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of audit methodologies and risk assessment techniques.
• Ability to analyze documentation, conduct interviews, and observe processes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting findings.
• Professional integrity and attention to detail.
