Internal Audit Associate

About the role

The Internal Audit Associate will support Healthy Options in ensuring that business unit processes align with corporate goals and regulatory standards. You will work closely with process owners to evaluate controls, identify improvement opportunities, and deliver actionable audit findings.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute audit cycles in collaboration with supervisors and process owners.
• Assess risk management, governance, and internal control effectiveness across functional areas.
• Document and evaluate internal control designs using flowcharts, walkthroughs, and benchmarking.
• Compile audit results, draft reports, and communicate recommendations within set deadlines.
• Maintain high quality and accuracy in all audit deliverables, including checklists and notices.
• Continuously develop personal and technical audit skills.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Internal Audit, or related field.
• CPA and/or CIA certification is a plus.
• Experience with internal, external, or risk‑management audit work, preferably from a reputable audit firm.
• Strong written and verbal communication, report drafting, and presentation abilities.
