Instructor I – Full‑time Teaching Position

About the role

The Instructor I position is a full‑time, on‑site teaching role at the Technological University of the Philippines – Taguig Campus. The incumbent will deliver both classroom and laboratory instruction, mentor students, and contribute to curriculum development.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver lesson plans for core and specialized subjects.
• Conduct classroom and laboratory sessions, facilitating active learning.
• Assess student performance through exams, projects, and other evaluation methods.
• Maintain accurate academic records and provide student consultation and mentoring.
• Participate in departmental meetings, research activities, and community extension programs.
• Support initiatives that enhance teaching quality and learning outcomes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, technology, applied sciences, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Valid professional licensure (e.g., PRC board exam passer) for the program applied to.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to ethical, learner‑centered teaching and continuous professional development.
• Prior teaching or training experience in higher education or technical‑vocational settings is preferred, but fresh graduates with a valid PRC license may also apply.

Required skills

• Instructional skills such as lesson planning and classroom management.
• Ability to design fair grading systems and provide constructive feedback.
• Proficiency with educational technology and basic Learning Management Systems (LMS).
