Lead Teacher

About the role

We are launching a community‑driven kids’ café in BGC, Taguig, where play meets learning. As a Lead Teacher you will guide infant, toddler and elementary‑age classes, creating a child‑led environment that celebrates curiosity, consent and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily lesson plans aligned with an age‑appropriate curriculum, set up materials and clean up after classes.
• Brainstorm and develop new curriculum ideas, crafts and learning activities.
• Lead classes teaching basic and specialized craft skills.
• Use classroom‑management tools and motivational activities to maintain a safe, responsive classroom culture.
• Facilitate group interaction, hand‑washing routines and greeting children on arrival.
• Assess student performance and behavior, and support routine procedures.
• Assist in organizing morning/afternoon classes, weekend parties and special events.
• Monitor children during free‑play periods to ensure safety and well‑being.
• Work at least one weekend day per month and help with party setup, food service, decorating and schedule management.
• Build positive relationships with fellow teachers, staff and parents.

Required profile

• Passionate about working with high‑energy, diverse children from infants to elementary age.
• Positive, playful attitude with strong initiative and work ethic.
• Excellent improvisation and problem‑solving abilities in a collaborative setting.
• Adaptable to evolving developmental needs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Psychology or related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience with children (including home‑based experience).
• Ability to sing is a plus, not required.
