About the role

BETWEEN is looking for a Production Purchasing Engineer to join its Zaragoza project supporting the automotive sector. The role focuses on managing technical purchases, ensuring material selection, budget compliance, and timely delivery while aligning suppliers with project standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical production purchases, guaranteeing correct material selection, budget adherence, and schedule compliance.
• Define and implement purchasing strategies covering resourcing, logistics, and productive materials.
• Coordinate with suppliers to meet cost, deadline, and quality requirements.
• Monitor production actions and align supplier performance with project objectives.
• Implement global material standards (PG/PL) on site.
• Develop and execute plant‑level mitigation plans.
• Ensure logistical protocols are followed in all procurement activities.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to secure effective supply management.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in industrial purchasing, preferably in automotive environments.
• High level of English (C1) and strong negotiation skills.
• Organised, solution‑oriented and results‑driven.
• Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
