About the role

BETWEEN is looking for a Project Quality Engineer to ensure product quality from early development through industrialisation and series production in the automotive sector. You will work closely with the customer, suppliers and internal teams to guarantee compliance with customer requirements and internal standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the complete quality lifecycle of the project from approval to closure.
• Coordinate APQP activities and maintain the customer quality relationship.
• Define and implement robust Control Plans.
• Ensure compliance with customer specifications and internal quality standards.
• Lead escalation processes for quality deviations or risks.
• Organise and deliver PPAP documentation on schedule.
• Conduct validations, DFMEA, PFMEA and measurement plans.
• Confirm conformity of delivered parts, including prototypes.
• Lead problem‑solving and claims management.
• Collaborate with suppliers (SQE) and internal teams (R&D, production, metrology).
• Support transfer to series production and maintain control assurance.

Required profile

• Degree or Master’s in Engineering or technical qualification with quality experience.
• 2‑3 years of experience in an industrial environment, preferably automotive.
• Proven experience in APQP, PPAP and project quality management.
• Ability to work directly with customers, suppliers and cross‑functional teams.
