Information Technology System Administrator

About the role

The Information Technology System Administrator will ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with technical teams, vendors, and business units to deliver reliable services and support strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Assess business process requirements and recommend or implement solutions aligned with company goals.
• Participate in project teams for hardware and software implementations, prepare work plans, monitor milestones, and report progress.
• Provide technical support for networks, servers, desktops, databases, operating systems, and business applications.
• Coordinate purchasing, installation, and configuration of desktops and software upgrades.
• Create and maintain standards, procedures, and documentation; support audits and disaster‑recovery testing.
• Implement system changes, manage access controls, and enforce security policies.
• Communicate with all organizational levels to identify user needs and ensure project success.
• Assist in budgeting, resource allocation, and cost‑control activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a computer‑related discipline or equivalent professional certification.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP.
• Virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper‑V).
• Software license management.
• Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Backup, disaster‑recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Network infrastructure, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Scripting and automation using PowerShell, Bash, or similar tools.
• Monitoring and endpoint management solutions.
