Information Security Engineer - Security Control Validation

About the role

As an Information Security Engineer at TTEC, you will work remotely from Metro Manila to help protect the company’s data and systems. You will ensure security tools operate effectively, support partner teams, and contribute to a strong security posture across cloud and on‑premise environments.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain TTEC’s information security standards and reduce risk of data loss.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate security tools such as EDR, DLP, SIEM, and PAM.
• Collaborate with Information Security, IT Operations, and Engineering to resolve issues and strengthen security.
• Create, track, and close tickets, validating remediation and escalating when needed.
• Support network security operations and assist with implementation of new security technologies.
• Develop and maintain procedures, runbooks, and internal documentation.
• Provide backup support during urgent or emergency situations.
• Proactively monitor cloud and on‑premise environments, respond to alerts, and execute scheduled changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining and supporting security applications or tools.
• Knowledge of information security principles, concepts, and best practices.
• Understanding of networks, firewalls, and operating systems.
• Ability to give technical advice and recommendations to management and technical teams.

Required skills

• Experience with EDR, DLP, SIEM, or PAM solutions.
• Knowledge of firewalls and networking concepts.
• Familiarity with operating system security.
