Information Security Analyst

About the role

MicroSourcing is looking for an experienced Information Security Analyst to join its security operations team in Parañaque City. You will protect the organization’s digital assets by monitoring security controls, responding to incidents, and automating threat‑hunting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage technical security controls such as endpoint protection, email security gateways, SIEM, and web proxies.
• Lead end‑to‑end incident response and forensic investigations for network and endpoint compromises.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline intelligence gathering and threat‑hunting activities.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues in collaboration with vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Produce operational reports and dashboards for management, tracking system health and risk metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Security Operations (SecOps) role within a medium to large organization.
• Proven ability to conduct full incident response cycles and investigations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for reporting to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Demonstrated trustworthiness and capacity to work with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SIEM, DLP, vulnerability management, and privileged identity/access management (PIM/PAM) solutions.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash for security automation.
• Experience managing endpoint protection, email security gateways, and web proxies.
• Knowledge of threat hunting techniques and forensic handling.
• Ability to generate high‑level operational metrics and KPI reports for executive review.
