IE Engineer I – Network & Cloud Infrastructure

About the role

As an IE Engineer I you will join a collaborative team responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the company’s network infrastructure across cloud (AWS, GCP) and on‑premise environments. You will work closely with other IT groups to troubleshoot issues, manage upgrades and proactively address security vulnerabilities while staying current with emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Support platform strategies, migration plans and provide technical assistance for projects of varying complexity.
• Test and evaluate systems, create operational support procedures and transfer knowledge to Systems Operations.
• Implement and manage network and security systems in a multi‑tenant cloud and on‑premise environment.
• Configure, troubleshoot, document and optimise infrastructure designs from the Network Engineering team.
• Provide on‑call support for production incidents and contribute to process‑improvement and automation initiatives.
• Research emerging tools and techniques, and develop new technology integrations.

Required profile

• 2+ years of hands‑on experience managing, provisioning and implementing infrastructure in a medium to large, globally distributed environment.
• Ability to produce detailed procedures and documentation, including Visio or Lucidchart diagrams.
• Experience working in an Agile Scrum framework and handling sprint‑based work.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
