Human Resources Manager – Energy Venture Studio

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Manager to lead talent acquisition and HR business partnering for 1882 Energy Ventures and its portfolio companies. In this hands‑on role you will work closely with leaders to translate business priorities into workforce plans, recruit critical talent and foster a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and develop people strategies, workforce plans and role requirements.
• Manage the full talent lifecycle: workforce planning, sourcing, assessment, offer management and onboarding.
• Design and improve recruitment processes, ATS utilization and candidate experience.
• Lead employer‑branding initiatives and build talent pipelines for current and future needs.
• Oversee performance management, goal setting, coaching, feedback and development planning.
• Support succession planning, learning initiatives and capability gap analysis.
• Drive employee engagement, gather feedback and champion the company’s culture and values.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading HR functions in fast‑growing, venture‑backed or startup environments.
• Strong strategic judgment combined with the ability to execute hands‑on HR initiatives.
• Excellent partnership skills with senior leaders and ability to influence people decisions.
• Track record of building effective recruitment processes and employer‑branding programs.
• Experience managing performance, learning, succession and employee engagement programs.
