Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

The People Business Partner will nurture positive employee‑management relationships and drive effective labor‑relations programs. This role involves planning, implementing and communicating policies while ensuring compliance with Philippine labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning, implementing and communicating employee and labor relations programs and procedures.
• Monitor program effectiveness and recommend modifications.
• Compile economic impact data for proposals from labor and management.
• Guide managers on grievance procedures, disciplinary actions and other employee‑relations matters.
• Facilitate meetings between labor and management to resolve issues.
• Gather initial employee concerns, evaluate issues and refer for appropriate action.
• Analyze HR statistics and progress reports.
• Support the Engagement Office in designing local employee engagement and recognition initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Graduate of Psychology, Human Resources Management or a related degree.
• Minimum two years experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.
• Stable employment history.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws and ability to apply them.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Davao with flexible schedules, including shifts and occasional overtime.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to analyze raw data in Excel to create reports and identify trends.
• Competence in preparing informative presentations for leaders and employees.
