HR Specialist – People Operations Partner

About the role

Remitly is seeking a detail‑oriented HR Specialist to join its global People team. The role focuses on transactional HR excellence, supporting the full employee lifecycle and providing dedicated time‑keeping assistance for the Philippines workforce.

Key responsibilities

• Provide time‑keeping support for Philippines employees, tracking, correcting, and reconciling attendance data using Jeonsoft ESS and Workday.
• Execute day‑to‑day HR administration including onboarding, off‑boarding, leaves of absence, job changes, payroll review support, benefits administration, and employment data maintenance.
• Manage HR JIRA ticketing from intake through resolution, ensuring timely and accurate handling of requests.
• Administer core HRIS platforms, primarily Workday, to maintain data integrity across all records.
• Support program execution across the employee lifecycle such as internal transfers, performance reviews, promotions, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Document, update, and make accessible People Operations policies, processes, and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail with a process‑first mindset.
• Ability to work accurately at scale and meet defined timelines.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with employees, HR Business Partners, and business leaders.
• Global mindset to ensure inclusive and consistent HR programs.

Required skills

• Experience with Jeonsoft ESS for time‑keeping.
• Proficiency in Workday HRIS administration.
• Familiarity with JIRA ticketing systems.
