HR Officer

About the role

The HR Officer will support the organization by developing and administering comprehensive human resources plans and procedures. This role acts as a key liaison between management and staff, ensuring smooth HR operations across recruitment, payroll, benefits, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and administer HR plans and procedures aligned with company objectives.
• Plan, organize, control and make decisions for all HR‑related functions.
• Create employment contracts and update job descriptions.
• Maintain and revise the employee handbook on policies and procedures.
• Administer employee benefits programs.
• Oversee recruitment efforts, including writing and placing job advertisements.
• Conduct new‑employee orientations and provide employee‑relations counseling.
• Manage exit interviews and maintain department records, company files and organizational charts.
• Recommend new policies, approaches and procedures.
• Serve as a bridge for management and employees, addressing demands, grievances or other issues.
• Oversee and manage performance appraisal systems.
• Create payroll and benefits programs and maintain payroll records.

Required profile

• Graduate in Human Resource Management, Psychology or a related field.
• 2‑3 years of relevant experience, preferably as an HR Assistant or HR Generalist.
• Strong management abilities and excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Capable of working under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Excellent organizational, operational and administrative skills.
• Strong problem‑solving and interpersonal abilities.
