HR Reporting Analyst

About the role

Manulife is looking for an HR Reporting Analyst to join its Human Resources team at MBPS. You will support the reporting and analytics needs of a global organization across several HR systems, including Workday and Power BI. The role suits someone who enjoys deep focus, analytical problem-solving and turning complex information into clear insights, and it requires sound judgment, curiosity and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver global HR reporting and analytics using Workday and Power BI, with recurring and ad hoc insights aligned to defined SLAs.
• Intake, prioritize and manage a high volume of reporting requests across multiple workstreams, ensuring accuracy, timeliness and data quality.
• Partner with stakeholders to clarify requirements, challenge assumptions and turn business questions into actionable insights.
• Analyze data beyond standard outputs to find trends, inconsistencies and risks affecting decision-making.
• Monitor, reconcile and maintain data integrity across HR systems and reporting solutions, flagging issues early.
• Communicate findings clearly and work with HR systems and data teams to improve reporting capabilities.

Required profile

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, large datasets).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail, with the ability to spot issues early and assess risk.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate data, risks and outcomes clearly in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Preferred: 2+ years supporting HR systems such as Workday, Salesforce or ServiceNow, or equivalent analytical/reporting experience.
• Preferred: hands-on experience running, maintaining or scheduling reports in Workday, and experience with Power BI or Power Platform tools.
