HR Officer / HR Generalist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Officer/Generalist to support the daily operations of our Human Resources department. The role covers a broad spectrum of HR activities, from talent acquisition to employee engagement, and requires a highly organized and discreet professional.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment activities, including posting ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and conducting background checks.
• Facilitate onboarding by preparing contracts, orientation schedules, and employee documentation.
• Maintain accurate personnel records in HR systems and physical files.
• Support payroll preparation by validating attendance and timesheet data.
• Assist in rolling out HR policies and ensure compliance with employment regulations.
• Coordinate employee training, workshops, and development programs.
• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, benefits, and workplace matters.
• Track attendance, leave requests, and absences to ensure proper documentation.
• Support employee relations, including grievance handling and disciplinary actions, with strict confidentiality.
• Stay updated on labor law changes and HR industry trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Prior experience in an HR support or generalist capacity.
• Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR processes.
• Strong communication, problem‑solving, and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with integrity and professionalism.
• Excellent organizational skills and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms.
• Experience with payroll systems (advantageous).
