HR Officer (Employee & Labor Relations)

About the role

We are seeking an HR Officer specialized in Employee & Labor Relations to lead strategic initiatives across our commissary sites. The role is pivotal in fostering industrial harmony, ensuring compliance with labor regulations, and managing sensitive labor and administrative cases.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement employee and labor relations strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Ensure full compliance with labor laws and government regulations.
• Act as subject‑matter expert for administrative investigations and lead the Committee on Discipline.
• Develop and deliver labor relations training programs.
• Represent the company in DOLE, NLRC, and other hearings; maintain a labor case database for leadership reporting.
• Oversee third‑party contractor agreements, performance scorecards, and compliance audits.
• Interpret, update, and roll out the Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Support business transitions with labor relations strategies and coordinate with government agencies.
• Prepare and monitor HR‑LR budget projections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, HR, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in labor and employee relations, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong background in employee relations activities and case handling.
• Excellent stakeholder and vendor management abilities.
• Willingness to conduct fieldwork and site visits.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Canlubang, Laguna.
