HR Manager

About the role

The client seeks an experienced HR Manager to lead Human Resources and Development functions at their Medina Plant in North Mindanao. This senior position will shape organizational culture, drive employee engagement, and align HR practices with business objectives in a large coconut manufacturing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with plant leadership to design and execute HR strategies supporting long‑term goals and cooperative principles.
• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, and employer branding for plant, technical, and corporate roles.
• Design competitive compensation structures, bonus plans, and benefits while ensuring compliance with Philippine labor statutes and export incentives.
• Manage labor relations, dispute resolution, and DOLE compliance, staying current on labor law updates.
• Develop leadership, safety, and technical training programs; implement succession planning and career pathways.
• Oversee performance management, change initiatives, and HR metrics such as turnover and training ROI.
• Supervise HRIS, payroll systems, and data analytics for reporting and strategic decisions.
• Promote occupational safety and health compliance in partnership with EHS teams.
• Lead corporate communication, employee engagement, and CSR activities to strengthen morale and community ties.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in large agri‑manufacturing or cooperative environments.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR compliance, and best practices.
• Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., CHRP/CHRM) is a plus.
