HR Employee Relations Specialist

About the role

The HR Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for fostering a positive workplace environment while ensuring strict compliance with Philippine labor regulations. This role balances employee welfare with organizational interests through disciplined case management, grievance resolution, and proactive policy enforcement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead administration of the company’s code of conduct, conduct investigations, and issue disciplinary notices, show‑cause letters, and termination memos.
• Serve as the primary contact for employee concerns, mediate conflicts, and conduct one‑on‑one or team interventions to maintain a harmonious workplace.
• Receive, log, and process employee grievances, facilitate resolution meetings, and document outcomes in line with company policy and labor law.
• Ensure compliance with the Philippine Labor Code and DOLE issuances, prepare required reports, and represent the company during inspections or audits.
• Assist in developing and updating HR policies related to discipline, grievance handling, and labor standards, and maintain confidential case files.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience handling employee concerns, conflict resolution, and investigations.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labor laws, HR policies, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication, mediation, and documentation abilities.
• Ability to support performance management and employee engagement initiatives.
