About the role
The HR Associate will support internal clients across a range of HR initiatives, including compensation, benefits, learning, and engagement. Working within the Global Shared Services Team, the role ensures accurate and timely administration of HR processes for Surbana Jurong.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality HR services such as onboarding, off‑boarding, and expatriate management.
- Maintain and update employee records in SAP and other HR data platforms with high accuracy.
- Support implementation of HR processes, programs, system upgrades, and continuous improvement activities.
- Create and update work instructions to reflect current processes and standards.
- Provide basic support for minor HR issues as assigned by senior team members.
- Optimize usage of existing HR systems and assist with technology implementations.
- Ensure outputs follow SMEC/SJ templates and Business Management System guidelines.
- Act as backup for specific HR processes during high‑volume periods or staff absences.
- Audit data integrity, resolve issues, and support corporate HR reporting and ad‑hoc tasks.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a shared services environment.
- Self‑motivated, able to solve technical problems and work under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Effective time‑management, documentation, and organizational abilities.
