Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the daily housekeeping operations at Shangri‑La Mactan, Cebu. In this role you will ensure guest rooms and public areas are maintained to the resort’s 5‑star standards while supporting the Service Manager in delivering exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the smooth running of housekeeping activities and supervise a team of attendants.
• Support the Service Manager in maintaining overall service quality.
• Maintain and clean guest rooms, replenish supplies, and arrange guest belongings.
• Maintain and clean bathrooms, replenish amenities, and keep hotel corridors tidy.
• Ensure quality‑assurance standards are consistently met.
• Report any maintenance issues promptly to the Engineering Department.
• Interact with guests professionally and address their needs when required.

Required profile

• Pride in hospitality and a genuine passion for hotel service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and enjoyment of guest interaction.
• Full understanding of room‑turnover operations.
• Fluent communication in English and the local language.
• Detail‑oriented, guest‑focused, and solution‑driven attitude.
• Willingness to take on challenges and continuously improve.
