Hostess – Luxury Hotel Dining

About the role

The Hostess will be the first point of contact for guests arriving at the restaurant of Mandarin Oriental Makati. This role ensures a warm, professional and seamless dining arrival experience, reflecting the brand’s legendary service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Greet all guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Seat guests according to their preferences and reservation details.
• Manage restaurant reservations, respond to inquiries via email and phone, and coordinate special and VIP requests.
• Prepare guest profiles and update preferences in the guest history system.
• Maintain accurate guest records and anticipate individual needs for a personalized experience.
• Attend daily pre‑service briefings and liaise with service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth table flow.
• Provide courteous farewells to departing guests, encouraging repeat visits.
