Head of HR, Philippines

About the role

The Head of HR for the Philippines will lead the country’s human resources agenda, aligning people strategy with business objectives. Reporting to the Global HR Director in Singapore and sitting on the regional SEA leadership team, you will be the senior HR partner for the Philippines operation.

Key responsibilities

• Represent HR in the Philippines leadership team and advocate regional HR priorities.
• Design and execute people strategies that drive organisational effectiveness and workforce planning.
• Partner with the Country General Manager and senior leaders on organisational design, succession planning and talent pipelines.
• Lead the local HR team, collaborate with global Centres of Excellence and foster a high-performance, inclusive culture.
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws and implement global and local HR policies.
• Manage employee‑relations cases, investigations, disciplinary actions and redundancies.
• Work with Talent Acquisition to attract and retain top talent and support early‑career programmes.
• Drive HR analytics, metrics and continuous improvement of HR processes.

Required profile

• Degree and professional HR qualification.
• Extensive experience in HR generalist roles within a global, matrixed organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine labour legislation and employee‑relations practices.
• Proven ability to influence senior leaders and handle confidential information.
• Experience in technology or engineering sectors is a plus.
