Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead the company’s financial function, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, overseeing accounting operations, and providing strategic financial insights. The role also integrates procurement, supply‑chain, and IT oversight to support overall business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Direct preparation and maintenance of corporate financial and statistical records, including general and property accounting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial strategy development, delivering insights for senior management decisions.
• Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU) and manage annual and interim external audits.
• Review and finalize monthly management reports, year‑end audited financial statements, and submissions to regulatory bodies.
• Coordinate accounting standardization projects for accurate group‑level consolidation.
• Oversee procurement processes: sourcing, quotation issuance, bid evaluation, contract negotiation and supplier performance monitoring.
• Manage supply‑chain activities such as inventory control, warehousing optimization and annual procurement planning.
• Collaborate with IT on information security, system development and staff oversight.
• Recruit, train and lead finance and accounting personnel, fostering a high‑performing team.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in finance, accounting and tax compliance within a corporate environment.
• Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory bodies (BIR, SEC, LGU) and audit processes.
• Leadership experience managing cross‑functional teams, including procurement and IT.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills to present findings to senior management.
