Head of Finance and Accounting

About the role

The Head of Finance and Accounting will lead the financial function of a fast‑growing food & beverage business. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure accurate reporting, robust controls, and strategic financial guidance to support growth.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts on time and with accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, BIR regulations and tax requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and overall financial health of the business.
• Manage food costing, inventory accounting and cost‑control measures to minimise waste and pilferage.
• Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies and process improvements.
• Lead, supervise and train the accounting team to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing and sales teams to align financial goals with business performance.
• Manage relationships with auditors, suppliers and government agencies.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CPA is an advantage).
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, food costing and financial analysis, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms.
• Cost accounting expertise.
