Head of Collections – Strategic Leader

About the role

The Head of Collections will act as the strategic leader for all collections activities across residential, commercial, and national account portfolios. This individual contributor role focuses on driving high‑volume outbound collections, debt recovery, and improving key performance metrics while ensuring compliance with regional regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic and tactical initiatives to optimize collections performance and debt recovery.
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to design effective, efficient, and compliant outreach strategies.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable legal and regulatory requirements across supported regions.
• Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to boost operational efficiency and recovery rates.
• Provide thought leadership and subject‑matter expertise to continuously improve collections outcomes.

Required profile

• 20+ years of extensive experience in collections, with a strong background in high‑volume outbound collections and debt recovery.
• Proven expertise leading collections strategies across multiple portfolios and regions.
• Immediate availability is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Deep industry knowledge of collections processes and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret collections metrics such as DSO, AR reduction, cash collections, and resolution rates.
