Global Tax Officer

About the role

The Global Tax Officer will support Nuix's tax team in managing both direct and indirect tax activities across the Group’s operating jurisdictions. Working remotely from the Philippines, the role collaborates closely with business partners and tax professionals to ensure compliance, reporting and advisory functions are performed accurately.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing tax returns for income tax and indirect taxes such as VAT, GST, FBT and withholding tax.
• Support monthly compliance tasks, including external tax filings and internal month‑end activities.
• Prepare jurisdictional and consolidated tax provision calculations for half‑year and year‑end financial statements.
• Contribute to tax‑related disclosures within the Group’s financial statements.
• Assist with transfer pricing calculations and documentation.
• Manage online tax accounts with relevant tax offices and revenue departments.
• Provide ad‑hoc tax support to the broader finance team and business units.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in taxation and tax accounting.
• Experience with global tax matters across Australia, EMEA, the Americas and APAC regions.
• Demonstrated “can‑do” attitude and a proven record of on‑the‑job learning.
