Accountant – Australian Taxation & ERP Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Accountant based in the Philippines to support our Australian‑focused financial services. You will apply your knowledge of Australian tax legislation and manage client accounts using leading ERP platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Australian GST, income tax and payroll tax, preparing and filing BAS, IAS and payroll tax returns.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets and income statements, offering insights for performance improvement.
• Utilise ERP systems such as Jobpac and Xero to record financial data, streamline processes and generate client reports.
• Interact with clients to gather financial information, answer queries and provide expert advice.
• Perform regular reconciliations of bank statements, accounts payable and receivable.
• Conduct financial analysis to identify cost‑saving opportunities and growth areas.
• Maintain accurate documentation to support audits and compliance checks.
• Stay updated on changes to Australian taxation laws through continuous learning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience with a focus on Australian tax compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize effectively.
