General Contractor – Large‑Scale Building & Renovation Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced General Contractor to lead large‑scale building and renovation projects for a resort environment. The role involves overseeing every phase from planning through close‑out, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations, schedules, and budgets for multi‑million‑dollar projects.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, inspectors, architects, engineers, and ownership representatives.
• Review plans, scopes of work, change orders, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve delays or field issues, and maintain clear communication with stakeholders.
• Oversee documentation, punch lists, and project close‑out processes.

Required profile

• Extensive experience as a General Contractor or Construction Project Manager on large‑scale renovations.
• Proven track record managing multi‑million‑dollar renovation projects, preferably in hotel or hospitality settings.
• Strong knowledge of commercial construction, building systems, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, contracts, and scopes of work.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving abilities.
