General Accountant

About the role

The General Accountant will join Anvaya Cove’s finance team in Morong, overseeing daily accounting operations for a premium resort community. This full‑time, on‑site position ensures accurate financial records, timely reporting, and compliance with internal controls and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
• Execute month‑end and year‑end closing activities, including financial statement preparation.
• Perform account reconciliations, monitor accounts payable and receivable, and support payroll and expense reporting.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and the preparation of management reports.
• Collaborate with operations and other departments to provide financial insights and support audits.
• Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA or equivalent is a plus.
• Strong foundation in general accounting, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in hospitality, real estate or resort operations is highly beneficial.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and quantitative abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
• Organizational and time‑management skills to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Excel or similar spreadsheet tools.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Basic reporting tools for financial analysis.
