General Accountant

About the role

The General Accountant will support Landev Corporation by preparing accurate monthly and annual financial reports, maintaining supporting schedules, and managing purchase requisition approvals within the Oracle system.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and finalize monthly and yearly financial statements and accompanying schedules.
• Administer purchase requisition approvals using Oracle.
• Maintain subsidiary ledgers and ensure timely, complete entries.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations between subsidiary ledgers and the general ledger.
• Record treasury‑related transactions such as loans, interest, and money‑market placements.
• Ensure accurate posting of receipts and payments.
• Prepare and post monthly accounting adjustments (journal vouchers).
• Review and reconcile bank statements each month.
• Compile monthly, quarterly, and annual financial report packages for the parent company.
• Validate purchase requests against budget, coordinate unbudgeted requests, and evaluate departmental budget needs.
• Assist in preparing the company’s annual and mid‑year budget reports.
• Prepare documentation for business permit applications and certificate renewals.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS Accountancy.
• CPA Board Passer.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a general accounting role.
• Solid foundation in taxation, financial reporting, and accounting system administration.
• Strong analytical abilities and effective communication skills.
• Proven capability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
