GBS Intermed Collections Associate

About the role

The GBS Intermed Collections Associate supports the cash‑flow of UPS by managing collections for a variety of customers. The role focuses on reducing days sales outstanding, minimizing delinquency, and limiting exposure to uncollectible debt while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries within defined service level agreements.
• Identify, prioritize, and resolve complex payment issues that delay collections.
• Develop, create, and analyze collection and accounts‑receivable reports.
• Update client and stakeholder information using multiple software applications.
• Monitor and maintain assigned customer accounts, presenting recommendations for write‑offs when appropriate.
• Participate in process‑improvement initiatives and exercise decision‑making authority within approved guidelines.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; open to recent graduates.
• Academic background: Technical, Technologist, University degree or specialization.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables).
• Strong performance in recent evaluations (Upser).
• Fluent English (B2 level) is required.
