Full Stack Engineer – Web & Backend Development

About the role

JoyRide is building the next generation of mobility and payments solutions. As a Full Stack Engineer you will own features from design through deployment, working on both the web front‑end and the backend services that power millions of rides and transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using React or Angular, TypeScript/JavaScript, and responsive UI principles.
• Build and evolve backend APIs and serverless functions with Node.js, Python, and cloud services on AWS or GCP.
• Ensure performance, security, and reliability of both front‑end and back‑end components.
• Translate design mockups into accessible, user‑friendly interfaces.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following best practices.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high‑quality features.
• Identify and remediate performance bottlenecks and technical debt.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose improvements to the stack.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on full‑stack development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern front‑end frameworks (React, Angular).
• Solid experience with backend development in Node.js and/or Python.
• Deep understanding of relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, with familiarity of NoSQL concepts.
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS or GCP) and serverless architectures.
• Ability to work independently, solve complex problems, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
