Freight Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Freight Operations Coordinator to join our logistics team. You will be responsible for managing the end‑to‑end shipping process, ensuring documentation accuracy, and maintaining strong relationships with carriers, customers, and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and process shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and invoices.
• Handle quotations, pricing, and rate negotiations with international agents and freight partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, vendors, and freight forwarders.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and cost‑effectiveness.
• Communicate with carriers, suppliers, and customers to track shipments and resolve service concerns.
• Ensure compliance with customs and shipping regulations.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and overseas agents regarding shipment updates and requirements.
• Assist in resolving delivery issues or delays.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Customs Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged; up to 1 year of experience in logistics or freight operations is a plus.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Basic knowledge of shipping procedures and documentation.
• Computer literacy, including MS Office and logistics software.
• Willingness to work onsite at Mahi Center, Lapu‑Lapu City.
