Fleet Management Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Fleet Management Specialist to oversee the end‑to‑end coordination of truck movements for DSSI’s regional distribution network in the Philippines. The role ensures that every shipment is matched with the right vehicle, monitors fleet performance, and resolves any operational issues promptly.

Key responsibilities

• Receive trip details from planners and communicate any changes to customers and planners.
• Monitor digihaul (or equivalent) transactions from pick‑up to delivery.
• Create regional distributor capacity plans and generate initial and final delivery plans for source plants.
• Allocate fleet by coordinating directly with trucking owners and coordinators.
• Collect and produce daily/weekly reports such as Truck Status, DDM and Dwell Time.
• Tag locked‑in trips in the TMS and ensure all trucks have corresponding trips.
• Track truck arrival and dwell time using GPS (TM Suite), Digihaul, calls and texts.
• Maintain compliance with daily load‑out plans and generate root‑cause analysis for missed loads.
• Manage exception codes, execute business continuity plans and support cost‑saving initiatives.
• Log delivery issues in the CSS system and communicate with drivers, customers and consignees.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics or transportation operations, preferably in fleet allocation and monitoring.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams, drivers and external partners.
• Ability to analyse data and generate actionable reports.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
• Experience using GPS tracking platforms (TM Suite).
• Familiarity with Digihaul or similar shipment monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of SAP S4HANA for load status verification.
• Use of CSS issue‑logging system.
