Financial Controller

About the role

The Financial Controller will lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting while supporting the performance of terminal operations. This position is based in BGC, Taguig City and reports to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP/IFRS and internal deadlines.
• Coordinate the annual operating budget and rolling forecasts with department heads, consolidating inputs and monitoring assumptions.
• Supervise daily cash management, fund transfers, disbursements and bank reconciliations to maintain sufficient liquidity.
• Implement and enhance internal controls over reporting, asset safeguarding and regulatory compliance, including tax and BIR, PPA requirements.
• Maintain cost‑tracking systems for container moves, metric tons handled and vessel calls, analyze margins and recommend profitability improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in good standing.
• 8–10 years of finance and accounting experience, with 3–5 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in port, maritime, logistics or transportation industry is an advantage.
• Willingness to work on‑site in BGC, Taguig City.
