Financial Analyst

About the role

McDonald’s Philippines is seeking a Financial Analyst to support its finance function. The role involves analyzing business performance, identifying risks and opportunities, and delivering actionable insights that help drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis and evaluation of business information.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities, recommending actionable options.
• Consolidate and assess company financial performance against goals and consumer requirements.
• Analyze historical and current data, market conditions, and trends to evaluate cost‑effectiveness of products, services, projects, and programs.
• Prepare structured reports on financial status and risks, and present findings to relevant departments.
• Support process improvements by creating standard and ad‑hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Manage financial databases, including data entry, validation, reconciliation, and backup while maintaining confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification.
• At least two years of experience in basic accounting, financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial software.
