Finance Associate – Cost Control

About the role
We are seeking a Finance Associate specialized in Cost Control to join our team at Shangri‑La Mactan, Cebu. In this role you will support the finance department of our 5‑star resort, ensuring that purchasing and inventory processes meet the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Verify that received items meet quality standards and that pricing aligns with approved Purchase Orders and market lists.
- Assist the Cost Control team with month‑end inventory procedures.
- Prepare daily receiving reports and submit them to the Cost Control department.
- Reconcile accounts and communicate findings with end‑users to resolve discrepancies.
Required profile
- Strong passion for numbers and attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational abilities.
- Fluent written and spoken English (local language proficiency also required).
- Preferably experience in the finance department of a 5‑star luxury international hotel.
- Critical thinker and effective problem‑solver.
- Professional communication skills with internal and external customers.
