Finance and Accounting Head

About the role

The Finance and Accounting Head will lead the financial function of a fast‑growing food‑service business, ensuring accurate reporting, robust controls, and strategic alignment with operational goals. This senior position reports directly to senior management and oversees a team of accounting professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial statements, budgets and forecasts with accuracy and timeliness.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, BIR regulations and tax requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, expenses and overall financial health of the business.
• Manage food costing, inventory accounting and cost‑control measures to minimise waste and pilferage.
• Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies and process improvements.
• Lead, supervise and train the accounting team to maintain efficiency and accuracy.
• Coordinate with operations, purchasing and sales teams to align financial goals with business performance.
• Manage relationships with auditors, suppliers and government agencies.
• Perform other related functions as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (CPA is an advantage).
• 10+ years of finance and accounting experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of cost accounting, food costing and financial analysis, preferably in F&B or hospitality.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with accounting systems and ERP platforms.
• Technical expertise in cost accounting and financial analysis.
