Finance Analyst – Hybrid (Cebu)

About the role

Ethos Support is looking for a detail‑oriented Finance Analyst to support financial reporting, bookkeeping, compliance coordination, forecasting and process improvement for its operations in the United States and the Philippines. The role is hybrid and will be based in Cebu, with occasional travel to Davao as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, reconciliations and operational dashboards.
• Own bookkeeping and financial record maintenance for the Philippine entity, ensuring compliance with SEC, BIR, SSS, PhilHealth and Pag‑IBIG requirements.
• Lead coordination of regulatory filings, registrations and deadlines.
• Review P&L statements, expense reports and financial data for accuracy and anomalies.
• Execute monthly close processes and compile reporting packages.
• Manage end‑to‑end Accounts Receivable tracking and follow up on aging invoices.
• Oversee invoice reviews, client billing verification and revenue tracking.
• Identify process gaps, inconsistencies or risks and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with operations, leadership and external accountants to align US and Philippine financial activities.
• Support cash‑flow monitoring, bank reconciliations, treasury reporting and audit preparation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance or a related field.
• At least 3 years of corporate bookkeeping, general accounting or financial analysis experience.
• CPA license preferred but not mandatory.
• Based in Cebu (or Davao) or willing to travel regularly to those sites.
• Proactive, operationally aware and able to spot inconsistencies before they become issues.
