Facilities Engineer (Operations Readiness & Assurance)

About the role

The Facilities Engineer will support growth projects and minor modifications for Prime Energy assets, ensuring a smooth transition from project execution to operational hand‑over. The role focuses on Operations Readiness and Assurance (OR&A), safe startup, and long‑term asset management.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the OR&A Engineer for new growth projects and brownfield modifications.
• Develop and execute OR&A implementation plans, including resource identification.
• Prepare and manage Project‑to‑Asset (P2A) transfer plans and ensure all operational procedures, manuals, and maintenance strategies are in place.
• Support pre‑commissioning, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities, capturing lessons learned.
• Maintain accurate CMMS data, spare‑parts inventories, and documentation.
• Coordinate contract extensions, renewals, and manage essential service contracts for safe and reliable operations.
• Facilitate collaboration between project and asset teams to deliver projects as a unified group.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Proven experience with Operations Readiness and Assurance processes.
• Familiarity with asset hand‑over, commissioning, and late‑life asset management.
• Ability to create, review, and implement technical documentation.
