Facade Designer

About the role

The Facade Designer will join FacadeOption’s engineering team in Mandaluyong, supporting the creation of innovative building envelope solutions. Working under senior designers, you will translate concept ideas into detailed shop, fabrication and installation drawings while gaining hands‑on experience with advanced digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Produce detailed façade shop, fabrication and installation drawings in line with project specifications.
• Apply Rhino and Grasshopper to develop 3D models, visualisations and design details for real projects.
• Ensure designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and industry standards.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to verify feasibility and accuracy of façade systems.
• Prepare material specifications and assist in selecting appropriate façade materials.
• Participate in design meetings, providing technical input throughout project phases.
• Conduct site inspections as needed to confirm design intent and quality.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in façade design or the construction industry.
• Strong interest in geometry, design and creative problem‑solving.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and eager to learn new digital tools and workflows.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Rhino.
• Proficiency with Grasshopper.
