Estimator – Fire Asset Services

About the role

The Estimator creates accurate quotations for preventative fire asset services, blending technical estimation with essential administrative duties. The position focuses on estimation (70‑80% of the time) while also supporting documentation, invoicing, and record‑keeping through the company’s asset software.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare service defect quotations within tolerance levels and general service quotations according to company pricing.
• Ensure technicians’ defect notes are clear and legible, escalating issues when necessary.
• Process repairs and call‑out invoicing to meet company targets.
• Provide administrative support such as email handling, task scheduling, and report compilation.
• Maintain and update site information and contacts in the FSS asset software.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of estimation experience, preferably in fire protection or preventative fire services.
• Strong communication skills for interpreting defect reports and technician notes.
• Willingness to participate in both remote and on‑site training and adapt to a hybrid work environment.
