Equipment Engineer - Testing

About the role

The Equipment Engineer – Testing will design, develop, and maintain test systems for electronic and electromechanical products. Based at the Cebu Light Industrial Park, the role focuses on ensuring test equipment reliability, improving test processes, and supporting new product introductions.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain test software using National Instruments LabVIEW.
• Design, modify, simulate, and debug analog circuits for test solutions.
• Repair, calibrate, and perform preventive maintenance on test systems.
• Develop and implement test methodology improvements to address low‑yield and OQC issues.
• Manage spare‑part inventories and ensure compliance with hardware management procedures.
• Collaborate with production teams to resolve equipment and fixture problems.
• Support automation initiatives and KPI improvements in the test area.
• Evaluate defect downtime data to drive continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Licensed engineer status.
• Experience with LabVIEW development for test systems.
• Background in electromechanical, electrical, and computer engineering.
• Experience in equipment maintenance and acoustic testing preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 9000 environments and OSHA lockout/tag‑out procedures.
• Ability to perform data analysis and design of experiments (DOE) using Minitab.
