Engineering Technician (Refurbishment)

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Technician to join our refurbishment team. The role involves inspecting, repairing, and calibrating used or damaged equipment to restore it to original performance standards. You will work closely with the warehouse and maintenance staff to ensure high‑quality rebuilds.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of used or damaged equipment to identify issues and determine refurbishment needs.
• Create detailed condition reports, specifying required repairs and part replacements.
• Disassemble equipment and components, documenting each step to facilitate accurate reassembly.
• Clean internal parts, cover panels, and trays to remove dirt and debris.
• Conduct functional tests on repaired or replaced components to verify proper operation.
• Calibrate machines to meet original performance specifications.

Required profile

• Vocational diploma, short‑course certificate, or a Bachelor’s/College degree.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a refurbish/rebuilding technician or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with tools and equipment used in refurbishment processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate data entry.
• Ability to follow warehouse procedures and guidelines.
• Effective technical troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
