Employee Relations Specialist – HR (Philippines)

About the role

The HR Employee Relations Specialist will manage and resolve employee relations issues, ensure compliance with Philippine labour laws, and represent the company in proceedings before the Department of Labour and Employment (DOLE), the National Labour Relations Commission (NLRC), and other judicial bodies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle end‑to‑end administrative disciplinary actions, including investigations, documentation, and resolution.
• Attend and represent the company in hearings and conferences at DOLE, NLRC, and other courts.
• Monitor and respond promptly to employee concerns and grievances.
• Collaborate with legal counsel on complex cases to ensure legal compliance.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information and case files.
• Assist in developing and implementing employee relations policies and procedures.
• Support off‑boarding processes and other employee relations tasks.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Political Science, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in employee relations, preferably in a BPO or high‑volume grievance environment.
• Strong understanding of Philippine labour laws and experience handling administrative and labour issues.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail, strong analytical abilities, and willingness to work onsite with flexible hours.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
